Sri Lankan Curry

Sri Lankan curry brings out an authentic aroma of the island that is Sri Lanka (Ceylon). This particular spice blend from the island gives you the familiar depth and pungency you normally experience in their cuisines. This curry blend traditionally goes well with the staple seafood diet of Sri Lanka, and can also be enjoy when cooked with chicken, meat, vegetables, and lentils.

The traditional curry is cooked in a coconut milk which tempers the warmth that this curry is known for. It is a perfect mixture of aboriginal spices blended with a whole lot of chillies, fenugreek, curry leaves, turmeric, coriander, cumin, black pepper, cloves, and fennel seeds. This unique blend of spices gives this curry an unusual taste to be savored with roti, chapatti and naan breads to soak up the delicious peppery sauce.
